  What is T & T GPS Mobility?

T &T GPS Mobility is an advanced tracking system that allows you to find both current and historic locations of almost any asset or person. The T & T GPS Mobility on-line account allows users to find the position of the T & T GPS tracking devices to within a few meters by using multiple mapping solutions via our web-based tracking portal.

This means you can literally find any equipped asset, consignment, vehicle or person from any computer or smart phone with an internet connection. If you are not able to access our on-line tracking portal, you can call our 24-hour call center and the operator will be able to give you live tracking information.

Concargo T & T GPS Mobility personnel tracking solutions have a long pedigree, as their design stems from the larger commercial devices currently used to track shipping containers, trailers and plant over most of the world.

All the T & T GPS Mobility units have an inbuilt Geo-fence feature to report if they are moved from a predetermined area, this can be set by the user up to 1 Kilometer. The Geo-fence is one of the many alert modes which are selectable from the T & T GPS Mobility on-line account. Other alerts include panic, temperature, and movement, and with an additional interface, it is even possible to record ignition-on and usage times, making the T & T GPS Mobility system ideal for plant hire or boat charter management.
How does Concargo's GPS tracking system work?

When you open a Concargo account you will receive a username and password, these are your log-in details which you will use, via an Internet-enabled PC, to log onto your account. From this point forward, whenever you buy a Concargo GPS unit, be it a small personal device or a container tracking system, the details of your new devices will be added to your account.

From your on-line tracking portal you can locate any of your Concargo GPS units via multiple map styles, edit your personal and asset details, set-up system alerts (via email and SMS), generate reports, and even change the operating parameters of each unit, including reporting intervals and Geo-fence settings.

Concargo GPS units use the GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite network to locate the units, and in the event that GPS signals are not available, they can also report GSM Cell ID to allow an approximate location to be given. The GPS satellites send radio signals from their orbit in space, the GPS receivers then use the signals to calculate the position of the Concargo GPS unit to within 10 meters, almost anywhere on the planet.

To maximise battery life and minimise communication cost, the units can store several positions and send them in a single report, or alternatively your unit can be set to communicate every position at each wake-up cycle, the choice is yours. Data is normally sent via the GSM network (Global System for Mobile communication) using either GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) or SMS (Short Messaging Service).

If you wish to use the Concargo system in areas with no or limited GSM infrastructure, we are able to provide satellite communications and hybrid GSM / Satellite systems to ensure your tracking units are able to communicate with our back-office systems.

Unit positions and status can be displayed on a map or detailed in a report; these and all other options are available via the web-based tracking portal using your unique username and password.

The user can display multiple units or group units together for use with fleets. The user can be sent alarms via text or email should a unit breach its Geo-fence or start moving. There are multiple alarm inputs to detect a door of a container opening, an ignition being turned on or a cargo temperature. These conditions can then be sent to the user via text message or email.
GPS Tracking Systems for Container, Freight & Asset tracking

Concargo supplies battery powered GPS tracking systems for just about anything that does not have a power supply. Our range of tracking units start with a rechargeable personal GPS tracking unit with a 30 day battery life to a GPS Container tracking unit with a 10 year battery.

The Concargo GPS tracking units are very easy to fit because there are no wires and all the aerials are contained inside the unit itself, the unit can be placed under the seat of a car or fixed to the side of a trailer giving easy fit tracking and in many cases, units can be installed in minutes, making them both cost-effective and portable.

T & T GPS Mobility PT1000 GPS Container Tracking device

PT1000 is a self powered asset management and recovery tool specially designed for use where the asset seldom returns to its place of origin (e.g. shipping containers). It includes its own battery pack for power, a Quad band GSM/GPRS modem for communication and a GPS module for positioning.

Unlike other products, the PT1000 has a battery life of up to 10 years (based on 4 position updates reported daily). If an asset is stolen or moved from its Geo-fenced location the PT1000 can be sent a message changing it from asset management to security mode to facilitate recovery; in this alarm mode a GPS position is sent via GPRS or SMS at up to 5 minutes intervals.

When away from its country of origin, the PT1000 can automatically switch to GSM roaming mode; whereby it reports less frequently to reduce roaming costs.

The PT1000 also gives the user Geo-coded proof of delivery, and can assure the consignee that the container was not opened en-route or gone out of a specified temperature range; essential for pharmaceuticals and perishable goods where transit conditions, theft and counterfeiting are all growing problems.

Key Features:

  Movement sensor
  On-board Geo-fence
Up to 10 year battery life
  Intrusion detection (optional)
  Discreet through covert fitting
  Suitable for shipping containers
  Door opening detection (optional)
  Radioactivity detection (optional)

T & T GPS Mobility PT90 GPS Container Tracker

The PT90 is a miniaturised rechargeable tracking device designed to facilitate the discreet short term tracking of shipping containers and other container derived moveable assets. Due to its compact size and lack or external cables or antennae, the PT90 can be discreetly placed on the external walls of any steel container or container based building or storage unit.

The PT90 is magnetically mounted and contains an anti-tamper detection system that automatically warns the owner (via the T & T GPS Mobility system) that the device has been removed from the asset, and gives the last known position.

Unlike other devices, the PT90 can easily be removed for recharging, and has a battery life of up to 90 days (based on a position update every 6 hours, and daily reporting) and can be transferred between personnel and/or assets as needed. The PT90 is available in a range of vent colours and is fully encapsulated.

Similar to its bigger brothers, if an asset is stolen or moved from its geo-fenced location the PT90 can be sent a message changing it from asset management to security mode to facilitate recovery; in this alarm mode a GPS position is sent via GPRS or SMS as often as every 5 minutes.

Key Features:

  Tamper detection
  Movement sensor
  Magnetic mounting
  On-board Geo-fence
  Cost effective tracking
  Suitable shipping containers
  Discreet through covert fitting
  90-Day rechargeable battery life
