TESA is proud to announce that we have been awarded the World Quality Commitment International Star Award at the 24th World Quality Commitment Convention in Paris 2010.
The award ceremony took place in October 2010 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. The trophy was presented to Anni Bodington Managing Director and Craig Paine Business Development Manager of TESA by the President of Business Initiative Directions, Jose E Prieto. (Visit www. bid-quality.com).
TESA Palisade Fencing & Security Fencing is only the 5th South African company that has received this prestigious trophy amongst them are Goldfields and Fairfield’s Group.
The World Quality Commitment International Star Award is above all a symbol of distinction, the pinnacle of achievement in quality and business excellence, bestowing a model of leadership on those awarded and opening new business opportunities for them. The award also promotes achievements in quality, sustainable practices, social and environmental responsibility, and is designed to recognize the prestige of the outstanding companies, organizations, and businessmen/women in the business world.
The selection of the awardees is carried out on the basis of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model. This model consists of 100 principles for the areas of customer satisfaction; internal and external communication of the company; benchmarking; information and analysis; human resources; decision making; systems and processes; business results; and leadership. The application of these principles has placed companies from 173 countries at the forefront of innovation and business development.
